Barcelona, ​​September 7, 2024 – The XVII Regata Puig Vela Clàssica successfully closes its most spectacular edition, consolidating itself as a world reference in classic sailing. With 77 boats and more than 800 sailors, this edition leaves an indelible mark on the history of the competition and classic sailing in Spain.⠀

The coincidence with the America’s Cup in time and space, waters of the Catalan coast, together with the proximity of the regatta field during these 4 days, has left spectacular images for both professionals and sailing enthusiasts. Special mention must be made of the 12Ms, legends of the America’s Cup in the 70s and 80s, which this year have undoubtedly been the stars and which, together with the 15 metres, the vintage P Class and the rest of the classic categories, have made history by coming together for the first time in a single event, offering an unprecedented display in the world of classic sailing, which will go down in history.
