The Real Club Náutico Barcelona was proclaimed, in Roses, champion of Campionat de Catalunya de Vela in the Optimist category after beating the best of three regattas to the Club Náutico El Balís in a closely contested final. CN Balís moved ahead of RCN Barcelona by winning the first race. This Campionat de Catalunya for Optimist teams was contested by the 11 best yacht clubs in the Catalan ranking (CN Cambrils, CN El Balís, CN Vilanova, Real CN Barcelona, ​​CN El Masnou, CN l’Escala, CN Garraf, CN Palamós, CV Blanes , CN Vilassar de Mar and GEN Roses). A competition in which 55 tests had to be played on Saturday to compete against each other.
